I am a BIG fan of Dan Brown and have read all Robert Langdon Books. I recently finished reading his newest book "INFERNO". Now I am going to share my reading experience.
First off, I have got to tell that I absolutely LOVED the book. And, unlike many others, I find it the Dan Brown's best! Here is the thing: In Lost Symbol, Da Vinci Code, and Angels & Demons, the action starts after, say about, 50 pages. Till those 50 pages Brown gives an introduction about what's going on and all. But in this book, the action starts right off the first page, when Langdon finds himself waking up at a hospital room in Florence, Italy. After that, it is a sequence of twists, turns and revelations towards the end. And we are also presented with a spellbinding suspense. As the title suggests, Inferno, the story is all based on "Divine Comedy", the all time epic poem which is seen as one of the greatest works in literature, written by Dante Alighieri, the major Italian middle ages poet.
To summarize I think that Inferno was Brown's finest. The book does not have huge amount of codes and symbols and stuff, but it does have awesome action and suspense. If you ask me, whether or not you have read other Langdon books, Inferno is a must read. Definitely a five stars from me!
